TORNADO
TALE
Dear
Polyworld,
Recently,
I purchased 5 X 23,000 litre water tanks
from Polyworld and before we received any
rain, we were hit by what can only be described
as a mini tornado.
The
neightours' tennis court fence was flattened,
his electricity poles were snapped like
matchsticks and even a basic cable barbed
wire fence was knocked flat.
And
of course 2 of my new tanks literally went
flying about 500 metres across the paddock,
over huge boulders, through 2 gullys and
landing in the bottom of a third gully about
20 feet deep.
One
tank suffered a few cosmetic scratches but
was still 100% serviceable. The other suffered
a 2 metre long crack at the top of the tank.
This was obviously caused when the tank
hit the ground after its "flight". This
was propmtly repaired - about a 1 hour job!
To
say that these tanks are tough is an understatement.
I
can personally confirm that these tanks
can obviously take just about anything that
is dished out. They are really brilliant.

BUSHFIRE
BLITZ
Dear
Polyworld,
Well,
the smoke is beginning to settle but the ash and
'soot' are still rising as we recover from the
trauma of the past few days where we thought we
could lose our home, our 'Castle on the hill'.
I
wanted to write and say thank you and the team
at POLYWORLD for your part in helping us successfully
protect our home from the bushfire we have just
experienced.
I
have remained a loyal customer over the years
as your team has always not only given me very
fair deals on pumps and tanks, the after sales
service and advice has been very helpful.
Without
a doubt, the extra water storage tank and pump
I installed just last week as part of my firefighting
plan in a strategic position on my property with
the large mains, taps and hoses have helped us
to successfully save our home.
The
fire at one stage jumped into our garden fanned
by a raging wind created by the fire.
My
son and I were there just at the right time to
use the fire hoses we had installed for fire fighting
and we were able to put out all the fires that
seemed to be racing towards our large Federation
home like multiple claws of fire!
Investment
in fire control, specifically water storage tanks
and pumps when living in the great Australian
bush is not a luxury, it is a necessary way of
life!
My
wife and I would like to personally thank you
and your team for the professionalism and serivce
you have given us.
